Purpose.
To establish Department of the Navy policy for both operational and Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) Commanders as guidance on the allocation and utilization of Naval Flight Surgeons (FSs), Aerospace Medicine Physician Assistants (APAs), Aviation Medical Examiners (AMEs), Aerospace Medicine Technicians (AVTs), and the Senior Regional Flight Surgeon (SRFS) program and network.
