This guidance applies to post-commissioned software on the Jubilee line installed for the TBTC system.

This guidance applies to all software produced, supplied and installed by Thales Rail Signalling Solutions Ltd and includes software produced for Thales by a subcontractor.

Use of this guidance does not negate the need to comply with all Work Instructions and Procedures referenced in this document.

Purpose

The purpose of this guidance is to recommend:

a) how maintenance staff should respond to software incidents in postcommissioned Transmission Based Train Control (TBTC) software on the Jubilee line to the supplier - Thales Rail Signalling Solutions Ltd (Thales)

b) the responses expected from Thales Rail Signalling Solutions Ltd in respect of a reported incident.
