PURPOSE.
In accordance with the authority in section 1143(e) of Title 10, United States Code (Reference (a)), DoD Directive (DoDD) 5124.02 (Reference (b)), and DoD Instruction 1332.35 (Reference (c)), this instruction establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for Service members (including active duty and Reserve Components) who may participate in job training and employment skills training, including apprenticeships and internships.
