scope:

This Standard specifies the methods of calculation and representation of energy efficiency standard achievement percentage of electrical and electronic appliances.

In this Standard, electrical and electronic appliances are in accordance with the Act on Rationalizing Energy Use (hereafter referred to as the Energy Conservation Act), mainly for general household use out of the following specific energy-consuming appliances for which the standard energy consumption efficiency is specified. In d), e), h) and q), however, electrical and electronic appliances for business use are included.
