PURPOSE.
In accordance with the authority in DoD Directive (DoDD) 5135.02 (Reference (a)), this instruction establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and provides governance procedures for IGI&S, pursuant to DoDDs 5105.60 (Reference (b)) and 8000.01 (Reference (c)), and in accordance with Sections 751-759 of Public Law 115-254 (Reference (d)).
