This specification applies to any organisation involved in the development of the CLS and any product that is to be Product Accepted (refer to NR/L2/RSE/100/05) for use as a CLS.
This specification covers the following colour light signal types, it does not include long range wide beam or short-range signals.
Purpose
This specification sets out the technical requirements of the Colour Light Signals (CLS). This allows the CLS product to be developed in line with current Network Rail standards and procedures to ensure a product offered is the best solution for Network Rail.
