scope:
This Standard specifies the methods for evaluating the adequacy of protection provided by a package against vibration, impact, and compression that complete, filled transport packages are subjected to during distribution. Where the distribution system is well defined and its data is available, Case 1 test as described in Annex A shall be selected. This Standard is not applicable to transport packages which are subject to the Fire Service Act and other related laws and regulations.
