This Standard covers thermoplastic flexible fittings for connecting water closets and urinals to the sanitary drainage system and specifies requirements for materials, dimensions and tolerances, performance testing, and markings.
Note: In this Standard, thermoplastic flexible fittings used for connecting water closets and urinals to the sanitary drainage system are referred to a "flexible fittings".
The requirements of this Standard are not intended to prevent the use of alternative materials or methods of construction provided such alternatives meet the intent and requirements of this Standard.
Proposals for amendments to this Standard will be processed in accordance with the standards writing procedures of IAPMO.
