Scope and Applicability.
The policies delineated in this instruction apply to all Navy Medicine activities.
Purpose.
To provide policy, procedures, and information to direct Navy Graduate Medical Education (GME) programs and define the responsibilities involved in GME program management and administration. The policies contained herein also apply to Navy-sponsored GME trainees in Joint GME programs. This instruction was revised in compliance with reference (a), section 4103. It is a complete revision and must be read in its entirety.
