This instruction applies to all Navy Medicine activities assigned to BSO-18.

Purpose.

To designate Enterprise Knowledge Management (eKM) as the authoritative correspondence management system for the Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED) and provides policy for consistent usage and regulates all official transactions between BUMED Headquarters (HQ), any external Government or private sector agency, and particularly within Budget Submitting Office (BSO) 18. References (a) through (f) provide amplifying guidance.
