Scope and Applicability.

This instruction applies to OPNAV, OPNAV tenant commandspreviously utilizing Department of the Navy (DON) Tracker for task management and DONcongressional users previously utilizing Congressional Information Management System(CIMS).

Purpose.

Per reference (a), Enterprise Task Management Solution System (ETMS2) is theauthoritative correspondence and task management system for the Department of the Navy andprovides general guidance for consistent usage. Any packages being routed to Director, NavyStaff (DNS), Vice Chief of Naval Operations (VCNO), Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) andSecretary of the Navy (SECNAV) are required to be entered and tracked in ETMS2. Allcorrespondence will be formatted and submitted per references (b) through (i).
