Purpose.
The purpose of this standard is to provide information regarding the testing and reporting of test results for injection molded, non-reinforced, thermoplastic materials, as these pertain to material modeling requirements for use in finite element analysis (FEA). The scope is restricted to the characterization of injection molded, non-reinforced, thermoplastic materials and materials filled with minerals.
