This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the requirements for liquid textured paints (synthetic resin emulsion type) mainly used for interior and exterior finishing of buildings 1), which are mainly made of synthetic resin emulsion and pigment or those added with a filler, and not containing formaldehyde system antiseptics, urea resin, phenol resin or melamine resin.
Note 1) There are such as stipple finish, orange-peel finish and lunar-surface finish.
