This guidance applies to all line managers and existing employees of TfL and its subsidiaries. It is important to consider the needs of all employees during day-to-day interactions, during times of change and when implementing new or revised policies and processes. This document includes details on changing of name or titles for the purposes of employment, it does not cover legally changing your name or title.
Purpose
The purpose of this document is to provide guidance on TfL's approach towards supporting Trans and Non-Binary employees and those who are proposing to undergo, are undergoing or have undergone gender reassignment. It should be read together with any relevant TfL policies.
