scope:
This international standard specifies technical requirements of measurement and assessment of the visual appearance of the superficial coating of large yachts. It is valid for coatings above the waterline.
For the purpose of this standard, large yachts are of LH (as defined according to EN ISO 8666) higher or equal to 24 m, in use for sport or pleasure and commercial operations.
