Purpose
Network Rail is committed through its environment policy to integrating good environmental management with the safe and efficient operation of the railway and to provide resources and expertise to meet its stated environmental obligations and commitments.
This standard sets out the process which Network Rail shall use to manage the environmental risks associated with its operations.
