Purpose
The Army procedures on relationships between Soldiers of different ranks reflects the need of the Military Services to have standard procedures. Soldiers deserve a clear set of guidelines for which interpersonal relationships are acceptable and which are not acceptable. This pamphlet is intended to assist Soldiers, from our most senior leaders to our most junior Soldiers, in understanding the Army procedures on relationships between Soldiers of different ranks.
