This standard applies to LU and LU Suppliers for new 22kV and 11kV, 50Hz, three phase, earthing reactors/auxiliary transformers, associated equipment, and documentation, to be installed on the LU Power Network.
Purpose
This standard states the technical requirements for the design, manufacture and testing of 22kV and 11kV, 50Hz, three phase earthing reactors/auxiliary transformers and associated equipment and documentation for use on the London Underground (LU) Power Network to provide earthed neutral points.
Note: Power transformers are specified in LU standard S1943 and Auxiliary Transformers are specified in LU standard S1942.
