Scope and Applicability.

This notice applies to Commander, U.S. Fleet Forces Command (COMUSFLTFORCOM), COMNAVSURFLANT, COMPHIBRON FOUR, Commanding Officer, USS San Antonio (LPD 17), Commanding Officer, USS New York (LPD 21) and Commanding Officer, USS Fort Lauderdale (LPD 28).

Purpose.

To shift Administrative Control (ADCON) Immediate Superior In Command (ISIC) from Commander, Naval Surface Force Atlantic (COMNAVSURFLANT) to Commander, Amphibious Squadron (COMPHIBRON) Four in order to better align ISIC responsibilities in support of the operational chain of command. This shift also aligns with Commander, Naval Surface Force (COMNAVSURFOR) directed changes to Amphibious Force ADCON alignment.
