This guidance applies to all Service Control employees including service operator and line information specialists. The guidance provides a range of options for Service Control to support Train Operators in responding to an "Active Shooter" incident taking place on board a London Underground train.

Purpose
The following guidance has been based upon information developed by Government, British Transport Police (BTP) and the UK rail industry to assist London Underground employees in responding to an "Active Shooter" incident on a train.
An "Active Shooter" incident is defined as an attack consisting of one or more people using firearms, with the intention of causing mass casualties.
