This guidance document applies to any spillages which are the responsibility of DLO, Lifts, Escalators & Pumps staff and should be followed when undertaking tasks which may require the containment of a spillage on any London Underground sites.

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to provide guidance to Stations Direct Labour Organisation (DLO), Lifts Escalators & Pumps on how to contain spillages resulting from their work activities, and wherever possible, identify and eliminate the root cause of the spill, minimising the risk to health, safety and the environment.
