This Practice describes requirements for anchors, accessories and welding consumables for refractory linings. It provides a basis for selection of materials, styles and dimensions of metallic and ceramic anchors, welding consumables and accessories for refractory linings installed in equipment and piping. This Practice also describes requirements for plastic caps or coatings for anchor tips and marking and positive material identification (PMI) of metal anchors and accessories.
