Scope and Applicability.
This notice is applicable to Commander, Naval Education and Training Command, Pensacola, FL (00076); Commander, Naval Service Training Command, Great Lakes, IL (00210) and Commanding Officer, Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL (0763A).
Purpose.
To approve Commander, Naval Service Training Command request update the official mission statement for Recruit Training Command (RTC). The current mission statement does not encompass the scope of functions and overall mission of RTC and the new statement incorporates the Navy's core values.
