This standard applies to the entire operational TfL estate: London Underground (LU), Docklands Light Railway (DLR), London Overground (LO), Victoria Coach Station (VCS), TfL Rail, London Buses, London Trams, London River Service, Woolwich Ferry, Cable Car, Dial-a-Ride.

This standard applies to TfL staff undertaking project work, minor/corrective works and maintenance on the TfL estate.

This standard applies to designers, contractors, suppliers and maintainers undertaking work within TfL owned, managed or occupied operational premises.

Note: This standard does not cover roadway, maritime or temporary works signage. For operational signage, refer also to S1004 Signage for Operational Purposes.
