The provisions of this standard shall apply to the transmission of all safety Related Information by whatever means it may be transmitted across communication networks. This does not include voice or facsimile communications.
Purpose
To identify the control measures which check that the risk associated with the transmission of Safety Related Information for train control and command systems across communication networks is as low as reasonably practicable.
