This section of Part 2 of IEC Publication 60598 specifies requirements for portable general purpose luminaires, other than handlamps, for use with tungsten filament, tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps on supply voltages not exceeding 120 V. It is to be read in conjunction with those sections of part 1 to which reference is made.
