This section of part 2 of IEC 60598 specifies requirements for portable general purpose luminaries, other than handlamps, for use with tungsten filament, tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps on supply voltages not exceeding 250 V. It is to be read in conjunction with those sections of part 1 to which reference is made.
