| Organization: | NR |
| Publication Date: | 1 August 2004 |
| Status: | inactive |
| Page Count: | 10 |
scope:
This procedure describes the assessment process for identifying high risk sites for wrong side track circuit failures in leaf fall areas, and this shall be used by Route Directors to enable the appropriate action to be taken in accordance with Group Standard GO/RT3208.
Purpose
The purpose of this procedure is to ensure that all sites which may be 'high risk' in respect of being likely to cause wrong side track circuit failures (WSTCF) under leaf fall contamination conditions are defined in a consistent way across all Network Rail controlled infrastructure, and that a structured process exists to alter the status of sites.
