Purpose:
In accordance with the authority in DoD Directive (DoDD) 5124.02, this issuance establishes policy, assigns responsibilities, and prescribes procedures for:
• Referral, evaluation, return to duty, separation, or retirement of Service members for disability in accordance with Title 10, United States Code (U.S.C.).
