The scope of this document also applies where activities extend to non traction locations and equipment where applicable.

Purpose

This specification sets out the minimum requirements for the assessment of personnel who undertake Traction and/or Non Traction Power Distribution, and/or isolation activities on Network Rail managed infrastructure. It defines processes to be implemented and the standards to be achieved to confirm that personnel who undertake Traction and/or Non Traction Power Distribution and/or isolation activities are competent to perform the work.
