Scope and Applicability.
This instruction applies to Naval Service Training Command (NSTC), USNA, the numbered Fleets and all ships and commands hosting midshipmen.
Purpose.
To issue general guidelines and information on the Midshipman Summer Training Program in the United States Naval Academy (USNA) and Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC). This instruction has been updated with the addition of New Student Indoctrination. This is a complete revision and should be reviewed in its entirety.
