scope:
Purpose. To establish policy and assign responsibility for the training of Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps (NROTC) midshipmen under references (a) and (b) and for the United States (U.S.) Naval Academy (USNA) midshipmen pursuant to reference (c).
Applicability. This instruction applies to the Office of the Secretary of the Navy, the Chief of Naval Operations (CNO), the Commandant of the Marine Corps (CMC), and all U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps installations, commands, activities, field offices, and all other organizational entities within the Department of the Navy (DON) responsible for conducting and supporting midshipmen training programs.
