This document specifies requirements and test methods for spray pattern sprinklers with a k-factor of at least K160, extended coverage (EC) sprinklers of at least K80, extended coverage storage (ECS) sprinklers of at least K200 and control mode special application (CMSA) sprinklers of all k-factors.
This document does not apply to concealed, conventional, flat spray, flush and recessed sprinklers.
