SCOPE AND AUTHORITIES.

It is recommended the reader become familiar with References (a) through (c). Further, the reader should be familiar with the procedures for ERM detailed in the Coast Guard ERM Playbook, available on the Office of Program Analysis and Evaluation (CG-PAE) Enterprise Risk Management SharePoint site. Nothing in this Instruction changes the guidance for risk management related to workplace health and safety established in Reference (f).

PURPOSE.

This Instruction provides policy for the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program, as required by References (a) and (b) and guided by Reference (c). The content of this Instruction is intended to direct Coast Guard personnel in their efforts to identify, assess, prioritize, respond to, and monitor enterprise risk.
