This document sets the requirements to a data collection and historization infrastructure and its components. The guideline splits between four variants of infrastructures, two proprietary and two standardized. The goal is to ensure that the data flowing through such a data collection infrastructure, from vessel to data consumers, is reliable and trustworthy.
This document does not cover infrastructures related to the remote control of vessels or autonomous operation.
