This specification describes furnishing and applying a durable green bicycle lane surface treatment (DGBLST) for asphalt and concrete pavements that is designed to be exposed to vehicle traffic.

The DGBLST is comprised of, at a minimum, a single layer using:

Binder resin system with aggregate incorporated into the binder resin (binder resins include 100 percent polymeric or methyl methacrylate (MMA)), and/or

Preformed or hot-applied thermoplastic.
