a) Infrastructure Maintenance Delivery Manager (IMDM), Route Finance Director, Infrastructure Maintenance Engineer (IME);

b) all roles involved in planning maintenance work within the Delivery Unit;

c) Capital Delivery / Works Delivery; and

d) Route Asset Management (RAM) or Principal Regional Engineer (PRE)

NOTE 1: This module is based on the national templated organisation. The process will need to be adapted for local variations to the template.

NOTE 2: Where the Asset owner is mentioned within the standard, this refers to the RAM and PRE Teams within the Route.

NOTE 3: Involves input from Route Services (Route Planning) and System Operator (Capacity Planning).

NOTE 4: Where the DU Annual Plan and DU Plan are mentioned in this module, this refers to the CAPEX Plan for Works Delivery.

Purpose

This module provides guidance when producing and maintaining the Delivery Unit Plan (Maintenance) and CAPEX plan (Works Delivery), setting out how to deliver work activities that are aligned to Network Rail compliance and business requirements.
