scope:
This Standard specifies requirements for the hot-rolled steel plates and hot-rolled atmospheric corrosion resisting steel plates (hereafter referred to as steel plates) having high yield point or proof stress to be mainly used for bridges, that are imparted with characteristically excellent weldability.
NOTE The International Standards corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.
ISO 630-1 : 2021 Structural steels - Part 1 : General technical delivery conditions for hot-rolled products
ISO 630-4 : 2021 Structural steels - Part 4 : Technical delivery conditions for high yield strength quenched and tempered structural steel plates and wide flats
ISO 630-5 : 2014 Structural steels - Part 5 : Technical delivery conditions for structural steels with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance (Overall evaluation : MOD)
In addition, symbols which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standards and JIS are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/IEC Guide 21-1.
