This standard applies to all employees of London Underground Limited (LUL) and external companies and their employees that undertake protection activities on LU infrastructure including Protecting Workers on the Track-Engineering Hours (PWT-EH), Protecting Workers on the Track-Traffic Hours (PWT-TH), Protecting Workers on the Track-Train Movements (PWT-TM) and Possession Master (POM)

This standard must be followed by anyone that manages the competence or undertakes protection activities on LU infrastructure.

Purpose

The purpose of this standard is to set out the requirements for managing the competency needs of staff that undertake protection activities.
