scope:
This Standard specifies single-use, double-ended, sterile injection needles (hereafter referred to as "needles") to be used for pen-injectors which fulfil the specifications of JIS T 3226-1. It is not applicable to needles for dental use.
NOTE: The International Standard corresponding to this Standard and the symbol of degree of correspondence are as follows.

In addition, symbols, which denote the degree of correspondence in the contents between the relevant International Standard and JIS, are IDT (identical), MOD (modified), and NEQ (not equivalent) according to ISO/lEC Guide 21-1.
