inactive
Organization: CSA
Publication Date: 1 March 2000
Status: inactive
Page Count: 25
scope:

This Standard applies to devices that automatically reduce the initial pressure to a set lower pressure in water systems and are self-acting spring-operated devices. It applies to devices that are of the direct-acting diaphragm type with a means for adjusting the pressure setting. Valves may be with or without integral bypass relief valve or strainer.

This Standard provides requirements for material specifications, construction, tests for structural integrity, capacity, and reduced pressure deviations, and instructions and marking.
