scope:
This procedure covers the significant changes to service levels associated with the introduction of the new published timetables. It applies to both passenger and freight services.
Purpose
To set out the common process to ensure that the risks associated with timetable change are identified, assessed and the associated risks are controlled to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP).
It also specifies responsibilities for the production of the timetable change brief, as well as its format and contents.
