This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies characteristics for hexagon slotted and castle nuts of steel (hereafter referred to as "steel nuts"), and hexagon slotted and castle nuts of stainless steel, (hereafter referred to as "stainless steel nuts"), both for general use.
