La presente Norma si applica ai sistemi completi di misura, impiegati per la misura di alte tensioni e di correnti durante le prove con tensione continua, alternata, tensioni impulsive di fulminazione e di manovra e per prove con correnti impulsive o con una combinazione di queste.
La presente Norma definisce la terminologia impiegata, specifica i requisiti del sistema di misura, descrive i metodi per approvare e verificare un sistema ed i suoi componenti, descrive la procedura con cui si dismostra che un sistema di misura soddisfa le specifiche della presente Norma.
