scope:
This Standard specifies the sterile syringe filter (hereafter referred to as "syringe filter"), which is used for removal of particulate foreign matters, bacteria and fungi in medicines such as infusion agent and which can be used as it is and which is disposable after single use. However, the sizes and species of particulate foreign matters, bacteria and fungi that can be removed differ by the pore size of the syringe filter.
Moreover, JIS T 3224 : 2005 may be applied until July 28th, 2014.
