scope:
This Standard specifies the biopsy needles for single use to take a biopsy specimen (hereafter referred to as "biopsy needles"). This shall be also applied to the needles capable of injection of the medicinal solution, except for the case that the usage thereof is potentially hazardous, when intended to administer medication.
Moreover, JIS T 3228 : 2005 may be applied until July 28th, 2014.
