Organization: TIA
Publication Date: 1 August 2012
Status: active
Page Count: 172
scope:

This document is intended to provide tests for key aspects of the operation of the TDMA subscriber unit and RFSS equipment in the interests of conformance (and ultimately, interoperability). These tests support the TIA-102.BBAC standard and related standards for two-slot TDMA. The tests are an additional set to test conformance for devices in routine operation without opening the device or penetrating into the software or hardware for internal intermediate results of the TDMA CAI. As such the tests do not require prior execution of the conformance tests given in [BCAD], nor do they require execution of the interoperability tests given in [CABC]

It includes a set of CP items or procedures for TDMA trunked operation as follows:

TDMA Group Voice Call

Emergency TDMA Group Call

Encrypted TDMA Group Call

TDMA Announcement Group Voice Call

TDMA Broadcast Group Voice Call

TDMA System Call

TDMA Radio Monitor Call

TDMA Unit to Unit Voice Call

TDMA Telephone Interconnect Call

Encrypted TDMA Telephone Interconnect Call

This document is primarily intended for manufacturers and conformance test facilities to serve as a standard reference for conforming air interface signaling. It also defines a framework against which manufacturers can describe the conformance behavior of their products.

It is not designed as a functional interoperability test suite, for which readers are referred to [CABC].
