scope:
Purpose. To promulgate the functions, tasks, and geographic areas of responsibility of Defense Service Offices {DSOs} and Region Legal Service Offices (RLSOs} under the mission established by reference (a} as required by reference (b) . Reference {c), the Naval Legal Service Command {NLSC) Manual, shall govern the general administration and operation of DSOs and RLSOs. Enclosures (1) and (2) define the specific functions and tasks of DSOs and RLSOs in support of the NLSC mission. Enclosure {3) describes the area of responsibility and organization of each DSO and RLSO. Reference (d) defines the specific functions and tasks of Naval Justice School (NJS) .
