scope:

This module applies when inspecting the line in order to:

a) Confirm that engineering work carried out under traffic has been safely completed;

b) Confirm that engineering work carried out when the line is blocked has been safely completed and the line is fit for traffic;

c) raise or remove an emergency or temporary speed restriction (ESR or TSR);

d) raise the permanent line speed (PSR).

This module does not apply to giving up line blockages or removing TSRs that have been imposed solely for the protection of staff.
