scope:
This standard deals with masonry work using masonry units made of natural stone or cast stone.
This standard does not cover:
- ashlar walling (cf. DIN 18332),
- cast stone work (cf. DIN 18333),
- dry lining and partitioning (cf. DIN 18340),
- work on external thermal insulation composite systems (cf. DIN 18345).
DIN 18299, clauses 1 to 5 shall also apply. In cases where the specifications of DIN 18299 contradict the present standard, the latter shall take precedence.
